Founded by three passionate women — Shai Noemi, and Jae — Get Waxed was born out of a shared vision: to create a space where esthetics isn’t just about beauty, but about belonging. We each entered this industry with a deep love for skincare and self-care, but even more so, a desire to make every person who walks through our doors feel important, seen, and celebrated. For us, being estheticians isn’t just a profession — it’s a calling. It’s about creating sacred spaces where confidence is restored, voices are heard, and beauty is recognized in all forms. We took our individual talents, experiences, and our unshakable belief in the power of representation, and turned it into something bigger: a brand built by women of color, for all women — especially those who don’t always feel seen in the beauty world. CANCELLATION POLICY
At Get Waxed, we value your time and ours. To ensure smooth scheduling and fairness to all guests, we require a minimum of 12 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before your scheduled service will result in a 50% cancellation fee, charged to the card on file. No-shows will be charged 100% of the service total. We understand that emergencies happen, and we will do our best to accommodate on a case-by-case basis. However, repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a pause or refusal of future booking privileges. When you accept a same-day or short-notice waitlist appointment (within 2 hours of the available time), your confirmation is a commitment. Due to the limited notice and inability to rebook the spot: No-shows for same-day or short-notice waitlist appointments will be charged 100% of the service total. Repeated last-minute no-shows from the waitlist may result in removal from future waitlist opportunities. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
